"Say it With a Smile!" - The Westjet Way of Doing Business

Most of the negative changes in air travel over the years have been due to the result of increased competition in the industry to meet the public demand for cheaper and more frequent flights. From this perspective, WestJet actually doesn't seem much better. Its flights are just as full and common conveniences offered by other airlines such as meals and entertainment are replaced with light snacks and a low-cost style of entertainment on WestJet flights.

However unlike other airlines WestJet has overcome this by recognizing that humour, a positive attitude and a focus on the customer are the secrets to make any experience enjoyable and this has been a proven KEY strategy to their success for many years.

WestJet simply intends to put the fun back into travel as stated by the CEO of Westjet Airlines himself, Clive Beddoe when he launched the company in 1996. His founding vision for Wesjet has consistently been to have flights with more casual flight attendants, more casual uniforms, exceptional service and a great smile on the face of every member of the Westjet team.
